Re: Toy House Troubleshooting

Hey, Congrats!!! That's a nice machine! From the video, definitely looks like there are some issues with the string. Hard to say if that's the only problem, but you'll definitely want to get that tightened up. I'd say get the machine to drop the claw all the way down and laying on it's side (so that...

Re: where to buy claw arms or fingers?

I am adding a store to this site this week, so you'll be able to buy claw fingers and possibly some additional parts here as well ;)

Oh that's good. I've been using Scott's help to keep my machines running for a couple of years now, but thanks! :)

Re: Claw Machine Repair - Pittsburgh area

Unfortunately, I have not seen any kits that would be as narrow as what you're looking for. I don't think Scott would have it either, since he mainly has components needed for repair, not the harnesses and non-electrical / non-mechanical things that may be needed. Re: Claw Machine Repair - Pittsburgh area

Hi Kobe,

I don't know of any repair places in your area - they're kind of hard to find. I may be able to help at least narrow down the issue, or maybe even get you some parts or repair. Can you tell me what exactly is going on and I can try to help.

Re: My Mystery Crane - Identification help

Someone said it may be a board used by Smart Industries. I emailed them to see if it looks familiar, and whether they can provide a manual or dip switch info.

Not sure if they'll respond, but I'll keep you posted.

Re: My Mystery Crane - Identification help

I'm pretty sure they're all different, depending on various features of the machine. I did post the picture on another forum, where there is a lot of vendors, so maybe someone will be able to identify it, or point us in the right direction.

Re: My Mystery Crane - Identification help

Yeah, it's definitely a Chinese or Taiwanese machine, but to find the exact manufacturer or manual for it might be tough. I do see claw adjustments (I think they're labeled "week" "strong" ? lol
